The Cooking Experience by Mis En Place is offering a one-time “Mood and Food Pairing” on August 30th, featuring Moet & Chandon champagnes. Who can resist bubbly and gourmet fare?
Moet & Chandon is one of the largest champagne producers in the world, producing over 5 million bottles each year, and owning respected champagne labels Moet & Chandon, Dom Perignon, and Domain Chandon (American-produced sparkling wines). Chefs at Mis En Place have designed a menu meant to highlight each of the four sparkling wines chosen for this event.
The evening will start off with Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes and M&C’s Imperial Ice (the world’s first champagne designed to be served over ice). The second course will feature the brand’s Imperial champagne paired with Brie Ravioli in a Morel Cream Sauce. The main event is Seafood Vol Au Vent, to be enjoyed with Imperial Brut 2004. Finishing off the night’s festivities will be Flan de Naranja and Strawberry Macarons with a Nectar Imperial Rosé.
