Cake Boss Buddy Valastro is really starting to like Las Vegas. Just last month he launched Buddy V’s at the Palazzo, an Italian-American eatery serving Italian comfort food based on family recipes. Now he has announced that he will open a Sin City version of his East Coast family bakery right next door. Carlo’s Bake Shop, expected to open in the next few months, will take up residency at the Venetian. The 2,200 square-foot space will serve up his famous cannolis, biscotti, and Italian sponge cakes, as well as the elaborately decorated cakes he is famous for.

Carlo’s Bake Shop originated in Hoboken in 1910 and has become internationally known due to Buddy’s gorgeous wedding cakes featured in bridal magazines, as well as the two TLC television series he appears on: Cake Boss and The Next Great Baker.
